Garrett Williams is a stud blocking, tigernet did a story about him a long time ago about staying after practice and working
hes another young stud that people were really excited about signing but kinda forgot who he was once he got here. hes gonna be really good for 3 more years

That was indeed awesome. What surprised me more than anything was how we won both lines of scrimmage. That was very telling in just how far this program has come under Dabo. I remember when we had all the skill guys in the world but BC would wreck us on the lines. Now we stand toe to toe with Bama in the trenches.

We actually were stepping on Bama's Toe's with our D-line at the LOS. Our D had 4 sacks in the first half I think it was. For Bama to have had 16 5star guy to our 3 minus 1 with Mac out, we stood up to them like we had 16 5star players also. Credit our coaches ability to coach up guys!!!

But keep in mind that the "recruiting-raters" give higher stars for HS players leaning toward SEC schools.
This year's CU recruit, Powell (WR) is a great example -- he was "huge" in the NC-SC Shrine Bowl game (he blew away the other allstar talent) but still only had 4 stars. Go back and look at his performance stats. But he was considering NC State and Clemson as his primary choices.
