2016 Concerns-Part 2
Last week I wrote about four concerns for the 2016 season. Today I wanted to write about Part II of my concerns. Today's blog focuses on kickoff coverage, backup quarterback, defensive end depth and inexperience at linebacker.

improved since last year in Spring Game. I have never seen him play with such passion. He did a great job, and then got mad at himself for not being perfect.

I know, right? Why are these guys refusing to kick the ball into the end zone... willful disobedience or coots in disguise? SMH

I understand the aerodynamics of a bird in flight but i am not able to do it. I understand that we need to kick the ball through the endzone but I am not able to do it. I think we have some who could do it once or twice but 10 times in a game consistently is more difficult. We score a lot! :)

We have a LB coming this summer that wants to give it a try, i hope he can do it.

Sure, Lakkip could get one deep here and there but he was never even close to being consistent with it. Huegel is even worse at kicking it deep. It's not that he "won't" do it, he "can't" do it. He just doesn't have the leg strength, which is obvious when watching him attempt FGs over 45 yards or so. Hopefully they can find a kickoff specialist over the summer who can walk onto the team. Or maybe we can do what Florida did and hold open tryouts lol. With the guys we have though, I'm all in favor of the high, pooch kicks, possibly giving teams the ball beyond the 30
