Honestly, if TCU loses tomorrow, I could see the committee putting us at 4 if we take care of business. Obviously, I think we get smashed by any team in the playoffs so… do I really want that to happen?? Historically, the committee values conference champions. TCU loss puts them at 12-1, non champ. Then you have the rest of the teams at either 11-2 with no champ title, 11-1 no division champ, or 10-2 no division champ. Clemson would be 11-2 with a championship.

Again, we’d get smacked and I’m not sure I even want us close to the playoffs. But the committee historically values conference champions…

The wild outcome is we do get in, spend a month preparing in a way we haven’t done this season, and then win it all hahahahaha What a twist of a season that’d be.

Georgia and Michigan are in no matter what. Ohio State is in since USC lost.

The other spot is either TCU or Alabama.

We're likely in the Orange Bowl against Tennessee if we beat UNC.

Frankly, I'm not sure we win in Charlotte the way we've been playing. I hope we do, but UNC's QB 1 is way better than ours.

I thought the game was tomorrow night. But apparently we already played and won.

But either way .. Alabama and Ohio State gets in before we do. That's what happens when you lose at home to an unranked team.

I would be surprised, but you never know. Highly unlikely even if TCU loses. I think they will still be ranked ahead of us.
