Trubisky vs. Watson - LOL

Just took a gander at some of Trubisky's 13 games he started in his college career. In their five losses W Trubisky as a starter, he posted a whopping 5.7 QBR against VT, a 39.5 vs UGA, a 78.5 vs a bad Duke team with an even worse defense, a 66 vs NCSU and a 43.3 for his grand finale vs Stanford.
I realize these losses dont fall on the shoulders of one kid, and really wish the young man nothing but the best, but whoever is sizing up this resume with DW's 32-3 record as a starter with outstanding efforts in those three losses (@ fsu as a freshman, bama in ncg, pitt) is going to have some explaining to do in a few years.

Agree with u but his 1st loss was @ Gt not FSU. He got tagged with the loss when He got hurt because he was the starter. Even tho we had lead and going in for another score. Stoudt was the starter against FSU. Just trying to state facts.

Yeah you can't pin it all on him, but I personally have a problem with the guy not being able to beat out Marquise Williams who couldn't make an NFL roster. Now that guy's backup could go in the Top 10 in 2017. I just can't shake that. Trubisky is very talented, don't get me wrong. I'd take a shot on the guy if I needed a QB, but that has always bothered me.

Don't think DW4 started at FSU his freshman year , tje other loss as a starter was @ GT ( when he tore his ACL early in the game ) .

Thats all you have to say.
I don't think DW4 has lost 5 games in his entire life since the 8th grade.
There is a reason for that.
Mr. Biscuit is no comparison. None of these QB's compare to what he is made of, but they can't measure that so let them talk all they want...

No team that gives up 645 RUSHING yards to Baylor in a bowl game, then 'improves' to 109th in rush defense in 2016 makes the CFP. DW4 unfortunately doesn't play defense.

from his team and especially the WR core.
Deshaun didn't have to be as good to get his numbers thanks to the Mike Williams, Artavis Scotts etc.
Trubisky didn't have that safety net
again - i'm still on team Watson - just being real

Thats very true, but they had very good receivers this year and rbs that could contribute significantly to his passing stats. He had a "5.7" - as in single digits - against VT. I heard a local (Charlotte) apologist blaming the rain that weekend, but DW4 played in a monsoon vs ND in 2015 and did everything he needed to do to win a huge game for his team.
Its just mind-boggling to me. Im too old to let this stuff bother me I just look forward to laughing at the morons that doubted him. May not be next year, but in a few years heads will be rolling for their poor evaluations. Theyre flat out wrong.

at receiver and rbd, and they scores a LOT of points against our very good defense. Mister biscuit had help, he just did not effectively utilize it.

if you're going based off of who they won and lost to, i think it is biased toward Deshaun. I'd wager against the rest of our team vs UNC minus Trubisky 10 times out of ten (at least '15 and '16)

and the personnel to stop any college QB. Most of his defense will be playing on Sundays. He had one year to hear about how DW4 sliced up his defense.
And yet DW4 walks out with the trophy. Probably closest thing to a good accurate test for how a college qb will transition into the NFL.
But i agree with the earlier poster, for DW4s sake I hope the Browns pass on him.
