Playcalling

Sep 4, 2016, 7:49 AM

Was weak. Worst game for Elliott and Scott so far.

Few intermediate passes to middle of field
Few wr runs
Few wr screens
Few rb flat passes

Things to stretch the defense horizontally and attack their new safeties.

Yea,but I didn't see a whole lot of Rob Spence's bubble screens.
We would have definitely lost last night with his offensive scheme's.

Agree---thought play calling sucked. Period.

You wonder if there are questions about Leggett being able to pin a DE/OLB and set a proper edge for a sweep. Agree - big difference in lateral backfield play from last season.

I thought Kevin Steele could NOT defend the jet sweep. I expected to see a lot of those with Scott. I think I saw one with Ray Ray. Scott was not the factor I expected him to be. I don't get that unless he's hurt again.

Were Elliott and Scott even there last night? From the playcalling I saw, they were MIA. And what fool brought a comparison to Rob Spence in an earlier post? Stupid!

I hope the play book was closed. Also for most of the game Watson was determined to get the ball to Williams -and for good reason. But I can't believe they had shut down the rest of our wideouts. Maybe part of the game plan was to get Williams the ball and make sure his confidence was up. There were a couple of drops he had that he probably won't have again. But, hey we are 1-0 and that in the big picture is all that matters.

I give you all TU
If it were not for Prozac & Chivas Regal I to
would have a hard time understanding
It's hard but it's Dabo's way when he will tell
everyone he's happy with a 1 point WIN
My question to all who know me is how can
you be "All In" when you're not giving/getting
all you can
Coach V had the "D" dialed in
Yes it was the 1st game I'm thinking the "0" only
showed about 20% of what they can do
With that all said our Tigers WON
