Taking my daughter to the Governor's School. Where are some good places to eat there? Really looking forward to some BBQ or good meat-3.

A place with an old sign that big has got to be good or else they would've went out a long time ago!

I grew up in Society Hill, so I've probably had Yogi's about 1,000 times.
In general, it's not as good as it used to be (we joke that they had to finally change the oil when the place nearly burnt down a few years back), but the gizzards are still awesome.

Westwood BBQ has pretty good BBQ. They are out on the 151 bypass. Cook Out is a pretty good fast food chain type restaurant. Low prices and a pretty good variety of stuff. Their shakes are very good. If you like sub places D&S Sub is a good local place. Its next to the Sonic. They also have a good Mexican place Rancho Grande. If you like fried chicken you have to go to Yogi Bear Chicken...very good.

Midnight Rooster and Bizzles are both good. Outside of Hartsville there is a great Meat n three, Mr. B's. My daughter goes to Coker and she loves Hartsville. Hope your daughter does as well.

we ended up going to Yogi Bears and I got a delicious Cindy Bear Dinner (3pc,mac-n-cheese,green beans, rolls, tea). It was as good as expected. The restaurant was a little old, but very clean (including the bathrooms).
