On surface this looks like a legit press release from the NBA.

He's got, at least, another year as a tiger. This could be a big offseason for him. I think he comes out absolutely rolling.

There's a chance we see pj hall in orange for 2 more years.

I agree that this will absolutely be a breakout season for him if he stays healthy. He hasn't been able to practice for 2 straight offseasons. If he stays healthy, watch out!

technically he still can come back to college. Because of that hes not invited cause if he goes then he must go into draft. Hall so far has retained his college eligibilty.

The plan the entire time was for him to come back. He's just doing what aamir simms and others did.

So why has virtually every article about him declaring for the draft said it was so he could participate in the combine.

Correct. The plan was to workout and then come back to Clemson for next year.

his not having an agent has zero to do with his lack of invitation

a player can take part in the combine and still be eligible

they can even wait until after the draft and go back to school if they are not drafted

O-Max Prosper got an invite, but he has kept his potential eligibility too

You can combine without losing eligibility to return, which is exactly what Simms did. This was the plan to begin with... Take a lap.
