P.J. Hall

4

Mar 14, 2023, 6:52 PM

He is a good solid player but he is a lil too cocky for my taste. He mouths off too much to his opponents. He is not quite as good as he " thinks he is" He is not NBA ready. He should be back. A taste of " humble pie" would do him well.

"Everybody needs to know that Coach Brownell is arguably the best coach to come through Clemson." -PJ Hall

I think that my Tigers need players like Hall who refuse to be pushed around by these opponents of the Tigers. Big time basketball is no place for nice guys when the game is flowing. Stand up for yourself, your teammates AND the coach., just my opinion.

Hall wasn’t 100 per cent for most of this year. Another good healthy season will benefit him and coach Brownell.

I agree to an extent. However if you are good folks will know it you don't have to express it.

Maybe.. Was he expressing how great he was OR was he letting the opponents know Clemson wouldn’t be pushed around?? Big difference I think!

Many older Clemson fans remember why we loved Rick Barnes..he would stand up to the likes of Dean Smith. I certainly hope PJ comes back. He will be one of the all time Tiger greats !

Go Tigers

Humble don't cut it in Big Boy basketball. PJ doesn't seem to be over the edge to me.

Sportsmanship is a lost art unfortunately. I hate any form of bragging.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

It is an intense game….

Especially in the paint. Those guys are literally beating the crap out of each other. Not like it use to be. PJ Hall is my favorite part of this team. He is tough. He’s a little emotional at times but you have to play this game with emotion.

I gave every Post in this thread a thumbs up except for those made by the OP

The OP has never played basketball if he

thinks PJ is cocky. I'd be willing to bet he's never set foot in an AAU tournament gym let alone bounced a ball on the court for his YMCA...

He’s more set for the AARP tournament, you know where they play ball the right way like in the old days., where slam dunks were illegal and crossing someone over was frowned upon.

If he keeps improving I think he'll play in the NBA

Mar 14, 2023, 8:14 PM

Needs to put on some muscle weight to be able to finish inside plays more solidly!

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

That's an odd take. PJ has the ideal frame and mass

Mar 14, 2023, 9:26 PM

of the quid essential 3 guard/small forward in the NBA...

I think you are confused. I don’t think he’s cocky, just plays with a lot of passion. Sorry if that offends you, capt. snowflake. I’ll let him know to not play with any emotion moving forward

If you think PJ is to cocky you might wanna quit watching sports because PJ is a choir boy compared to the next generation

2024 orange level member flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

The OP isn't an intuitive sole, I'm afraid.

Mar 14, 2023, 10:58 PM

He was built with more simplicity, like a politician or attorney...

LMAO you are probably right

I don’t know if I’d go as far as to call him a choir boy but he seems to feed off of trash talk from opposing fanbases. I don’t think he usually starts it but he sure has no problem giving it back to them. He also backs it up pretty much every time with very few exceptions so his fire is fine by me.
