Pitt’s offensive gameplan is clear as day…

They don’t want to test our corners, so they are creating favorable matchups with their WRs against our LBs and Safeties. Brett Venables should have understood that after Nolan Turner got beat for a TD. It cost us again with Barrett Carter being matched up with a speedy WR in deep coverage. #### poor defensive play calling so far.

You're the one fussing about two plays. No one adjust defenses any better than Venables. The patience, or lack of, on this board amazes me.

That’s been the book against Venebles for years now. That’s how Ohio St torched us last year. That’s how Jake freakin Bentley threw for over 500 yards against us. Burrow exploited it.

Looked to me like Carter thought he was playing zone. Not sure if it was his mistake or somebody else was not where they were supposed to be. Turner's coverage wasn't good, but it wasn't awful either. It took a very good throw.
