Pitching rotation

As we continue to creep closer to post season play one thing has been in the forefront of my mind as I look to each weekend, the pitching rotation. I know why we save Grice on the mound until Sunday's and I totally agree with it from an arm care standpoint. He is also our best arm I.M.O. so in a regional, when you are only guaranteed 2 games I am wondering if we will see Grice start to throw either on Friday, or Saturday this week/ACCT to get him ready to throw game one or two in a regional/Super. Darden has been fine but in no way do I want him matching up with someone else's number 1 in a super regional.

Get Back to Him Quickly. If you get an early big lead you could pull him after 2-3 innings and cut his rest as well.

That'll be our only downfall is no sure fire #1 and #2, we've been getting away with it during this run due to the offense being red hot scoring alot of runs. But eventually in post season play, you have to win those pitching duels. We'll see

Also I don’t see grice starting the first game just because it seems like maybe he is our Sunday guy not only to hope clinch or sweep series but maybe he needs some more rest since two way guy.

What scares me for the post season as I’m sure we all have seen as Clemson fans is the depth you need at SP to win a regional if you lose a game. You need a solid 4-5 starting pitchers to win a regional. Not trying to be rude but I feel like we have 2.5. Grice and then Gordon & Darden are wishy washy. So what happens if we get to that 4th or 5th game? IMO we need Tristan Smith to start this mid week game bc after our weekend SP’s I have no idea who we would start for those extra games. If we try to do a Bpen game after playing 3 games we will get killed. So who? Lindsey? Smith? Ried? This is the only thing that scares me come postseason play.
