After my vague wedding review

That left more questions than answers the rest of been pretty meh
Latest night I learned that a Ranch Water is tequila, Topo Chico and lime I haven’t tried yet, but sounds interesting
People from Texas are very proud of everything Texas and beyond
I met a 2016 Clemson grad that went to my school much later than me obviously and has parents that live 6 houses down from me
Tonights wedding was apparently a tats only affair
2+ lesbian couples and actually some 6-7’s on the scale. Not the pron lesbians and not the eww lesbians
Martinis are a PITA to make without a true shaker, etc
I still don’t understand why old fashioneds are so popular
Mom of flower girl was a sure fire pick for vodka soda and threw in the splash of crab which took her to another level on the hot/crazy scale
Drunk people that order the same drink over and over are still amazed when you have their drink ready for them
Is Latin-ish music really a thing now?

If a bathroom door is cracked it doesn’t mean it’s unoccupied. Saw cracked door and opened to pea and sho nuff a chick was sitting on the terlit. Definitely not one you’d love to see half nekkid
And for reading along That mom was on some Xanax, Ativan, or whatever. She wound up oddly effed up. Was carried upstairs by 3 people. She was puking and missed the entire party part of the reception. Husband came down for his liquor drink and baby sat. She was helped out by a couple of gentlemen and looked like a legit zombie. It was almost scary looking. Underage kids thought they were getting the specialty drink and I was fake pouring the vodka (not actually pouring into their drinks)
Drinks on king street are still drunks on king street. The high waisted pants discussed the other day are alive and well in the younger fashions
Hopefully tomorrow brings better action

Never heard tequila called that either.
We can all be proud of our states, like we are of SC, but yes Texans go to 10 other levels. Irrationally so. But that's said by an adopted Okie, so...
Shaken, not stirred. Well, that's for a reason, namely that I'm not going to stand here and stir your martini 10 times in each direction.
The more lesbians I meet, the more skeptical I become. Of what I'm not sure, but it's something.
Old fashioneds. For people who want to like bourbon but aren't quite there yet. Just give them time.
The mom. That's what weddings are for, to see such as that. At my dad's wedding - mom died 10 years ago - one of their side of the family ended up out cold in the middle of the floor. Right out there. A few of us were wondering who she was - it was a big wedding - and one of the bride's distant relatives walked by, looked down and said, "Yeah, she's one of ours." That line has become a family motto, usable in limitless occasions.
I have a jeep I like, a YJ. But what I really want is a CJ, but what I really don't have is enough money for a really good one. The YJ is fine except its a 6. A golf partner is a great mechanic, one evening we were discussing such things, and I asked him, "How hard is it, really, to swap in an 8?" He said, "Yeah, I could do it, but after you spent the money it would still be a YJ with a V8." Point taken. A 6 it will be. Drunk in wherever is a drunk in wherever. Which I have been.

been happening to the value of any CJ. Would love to hear about yours.
Mine is a 94, white, bought in 2008. The previous owner had done a great job with lift/tires/wheels, using a #### Cepek kit, and the proportions are right. I'm doing a bit of a cosmetic change: the seats are currently on the garage floor as I await roll on bed liner to arrive, maybe today. Tube doors are on the way, and a teddy top to replace the aging bikini top. Should be nice, and should increase the value, but not like similar tinkering does to yours.

A handful of rust spots along windshield and floorboard. I say handful to distinguish between a jeep held together with bondo vs a true handful of rust spots
Got the OG white rims. Replaced the radio with a CD player in high school. Other than that everything is original
It’s been garage kept forever as long as I know. Previous owner and we’ve had it since 1998/99.
In the mud 1 time while we’ve owned it
No lift or anything
Have a bikini top and don’t usually use it, no soft or hard top
Weather has been perfect lately for cruising, just got the fire department to show me how to legally install car seats

at all feel and look, which is why I ordered the teddy top. They are mesh and attach in a way that they fit inside the roll bar/windshield; the only thing around the roll bar are the bungees, and you don't really see them.. And they are not expensive, like $80. Not quite fully open, but some sun protection. The normal sellers, have them, but I ordered mine directly from the supplier, a company called Steinjager. Ordered the tube doors from them too. They come in all sorts of colors, from black to whatever, but I ordered the bare metal, will coat with the bed liner that should be here today. The doors are for Mrs: I usually have no doors, but she's starting to get a little nervous. The tubes were a compromise.

A little safety for her and the airiness for you
I hate seeing a top down with full doors still on
May as well drive a Miata (no offense to the moose picture taker that drives the Miata, I love the pics)

Weird. I had a text convo about Ranch Water this afternoon.

Lewis has had them ever since they opened in 2016, but it was called a Little Boy. I looked at the menu, and they changed the name to Ranch Water. I don’t really like mineral water or tequila, but those are oddly good.
