As much as I would love a huge win over a Power 5 team, there is no way it happens this year.
Wofford is simply not very good. We are the luckiest SOBs in America to be 9 and 1. This team has won, and give us credit for winning, but we are not very good.
Beat Furman 24/23 when they failed on a 2 pt to win it.
Beat Mercer, 28/27 down 2 tds, held them at the 35 when Mercer was driving to win it
Beat GW 27/24, GW missed a fg to tie late in the 4th
Beat Western in OT
Beat Citadel 20/16, scored with less than a minute when Citadel should have put it away on offense
Beat ETSU 31/24, ETSU was held 40 yards away from tying TD
Beat Chatty in OT
7 fourth quarter wins. These things usually even out over the course of a season.
We find a way to win all season but this is bound to catch up with us sooner or later.
Wofford is not as effective on the option or running game this season.
We can NOT defend the pass. If we played Clemson, Bryant would pass for 600 yards with his quality WR.
We can not cover a KO or a punt and we do dumb things. Defensively We never leave a 2 or 3 deep zone and quality QBs pick apart the soft zone. I doubt we have played bump or man a single play all season.
Samford's QB Devlin Hodges is an NFL borderline prospect QB. He went 39/54 for 427 and 3 touches. Imagine what a QB like Bryant would do to our secondary.
How we are 9/1 is a freaking miracle
Unfortunately, Bentley is going to pick apart on Saturday

I personally do not see my Wofford Terriers staying with the chickens in WBS, but I would love having the opportunity Sunday to gloat over an upset. We graduates can hope.
