him on the stand all day, constantly misrepresenting the facts of the IG report and badgering him and grandstanding. He has been remarkably calm and thoughtful.
The Republicans seem to be trying to wear him down with a day long inquisition, like they did with Hillary, but he is holding up quite well.
It is obvious they have no interest in the truth. Goodlatte is running a circus.

He really did do a good job of exposing them as the scum they are. And yes, Gowdy is human scum and a waste of oxygen. I don't care if he's from SC.
It gave the Dems tons of ammunition and after Strzok said that he had information that could have buried Trump in 16, I'm betting they don't go digging too far into that.

What do you reckon is going to become of Gowdy next year?
Like, what will he do? He says he wants to go back into law, so I guess he means work for the state on all our dime.
There's no way he could do private practice. His last three trailer trash supporters couldn't afford to pay him minimum wage to defend them when they get arrested for bigamy or shooting possums out of season.

He seems to be positioning himself as a right wing extremist, which is what the Republicans in this state desire. They've never really trusted Lindsey cause he doesn't have a wife or girlfriend.

Well SC is the only state with two gay US Senators. That's kinda funny.
While SC does like extremists, the fact that Lindsey won his primary outright last time and that McMaster won don't bode well for a challenger to Lindsey next time.
Gowdy seemed to be turning on Trump, but quickly got back in line. I bet that means he's been offered something. He might end up being US Attorney or something like that.

during that hearing. That's not the look you want if you're trying to impress Trump. He may have been playing ball for get out safely sake with his questions and tenor but that look seemed like a bit of an 'I don't care, do u?' statement.
