What is the difference in UGA and ND’s resume?

They both lost to another CFP team, only ND wasn’t embarrassed. What am I missing?
Does ND have better wins?

What are their best wins? Wisconsin and Purdue I guess?
Georgia beat us and we're better than anyone on NDs schedule outside of Cincy. And honestly we could probably give Cincy a game.

Notre Dame had wins against 'big name' teams USC and Stanford. But, USC was ~ 4-7 and Stanford was ~ 3-9 this year. Notre Dame struggled against UNC and FL State. They had some other struggles against mediocre teams.
As much as I'd like to see N.Dame sneak in ahead of Georgia, N.Dame was garbage with a very easy schedule. N.Dame doesn't deserve to be in the Top 10.

In other words, yet another "semi-final bye" for the Crimson Tide. Happens EVERY YEAR. Even when they played us, they got KB. This team manages to get cupcakes every year in the semis

If Michigan somehow loses, Notre Dame is in.
Not having an extra game ( conference championship) guarantees they are out under any other circumstance.

ND don't play in a conference championship game, and ND don' belong to any conference with their FB program, there fore, they don't deserve an advantage of not playing for a conference championship, period!!! Private schools belong in their own private play who they choose to play without conference rules that most all other schools play by!!!

Baylor has 1 bad loss, but Baylor has the 3 top 15 wins and a conference championship the other 2 don't have. Neither even has 1! In previous years the precedent set was who you beat trumps who you lose to!

Look, I hate Georgia as much as anyone but they deserve to be in over ND. Now if ND had won the ACC and loss one game I would say Notre Dame but I’m not going to penalize Georgia for losing in a conference game when ND didn’t play in one.
