I Need Some Help

Jan 25, 2021, 6:54 PM

A couple of days ago I received an email with one of the most heart-warming videos I've ever seen. I wanted to post it on the board for all to enjoy but my computer skills are below the bottom rung of a 24 foot ladder. If someone would be so kind as to PM me your email address, I will send it to you so you can justify posting it on the board. TIA.

Update. Help is on the way. Salty has come to my rescue.

Thanks go to Salty for coming to my aid in posting this video. The gentleman in the video is truly an American hero. I noticed he has a limp. I wonder if this due to a war injury.

That is a Great American and an amazing job with the trifold by himself. It is difficult to do this correctly with two people and looking at the respect he had in doing this alone, he was probably disappointed that any of the red and white stripes were left showing. Very Inspiring and should be a lesson for everyone in the respect due from all of us for our flag and Nation

This man has a heart that respects not just The Flag but what it stands for. To this Amazon driver thank you for your service. To Joe, thank you for reminding us about respect for The Flag but more importantly our wonderful country.

That was great Joe, my dad is a disabled vet. He was in field training in Alaska and got his leg mangled in some exercise. His squad was going to Nam after they finished a 6-8wk field training. He was in an Army helicopter squad, the injury left him in the hospital for almost 2mos, he was never allowed field duty again. They made him feed punch cards into the best computers in the world at the time that would fill up a Super Walmart. Your cell phone probably has 1000x the power of those computers if not much more. He about went crazy and got honorable discharge and disabled vet status. Anyway, watching that guy reminded me of my father and I could see him doing something similar as he wanted to be a career guy but 8yrs changed him forever.

ICATiger, Thank you for your Dad’s service to our country. He may not have been in the field but he served his country. I am grateful to any who gives up time in their life to serve in our military. Everyone has a gift. Who knows how many lives your Dad may have saved in the IT center. Your Dad’s contribution to the Vietnam war was no less than any other soldier. He was willing to go fight God just had other plans for him. ????????????

Confetti in my eye....

I love the care he takes while folding to not let the flag touch the ground again.

Amazing, and people wonder what the big deal about kneeling for the National anthem is about. They will just not understand the love respect and patriotism that generation has for their country. I am appalled at my generation’s disrespect and entitlement attitude.

Sir, or anyone else reading this. I am 37 years old and I promise I will always treat my country and my country’s flag with the up most respect that I have been taught by the example of men and women like this.
