This is an oppurtunity to at least get a FBS opponent. I love playing the instate schools, but we could definitely improve our SOS with this. Obviously picking up someone like The Real USC, Ok St, Boise, or some of the other ones would do it, but even having someone like Troy or UAB is a step above CCU. An easy win that'll help in the long run

Well, I'm down to watch the Marching 101 perform at halftime again. I remember noting at the UGA game how full it was at half time because very few people went out to tailgate so they wouldn't miss any of that exciting matchup. The next week, the halftime stands were just as full to see SC State's band! I'm glad that both our games against D 1AA schools allowed them to showcase part of their tradition, with the Citadel having the Summerall guard. As cool as another big game in the Valley would be, I also enjoy hosting the little schools in SC. A lot of those kids grew up dreaming of playing in Death Valley, so this is a great moment for them, an easy win for us, a big paycheck for their AD, and an all around good time with family and friends in beautiful Tiger Town, USA

in '88 and '89....only played the Tigers in Basketball back then....lifetime of memories made in those two years of bringing the beat at halftime shows.

How about ECU Argh! or maybe UCF? We owe one to O'Leary from his Tech days. My bet is Georgia State or Savannah State. Good thing I have to go to wedding out of state that weekend.

Fact that schedules are done years in advance and no big teams would have an opening for next year unless they had the same thing happen
