...I could not give 2 cents worth of care what these folks think about this hire. Here's a gem from Spreadsheet Jockey - "A corner preacher was giving the hellfire and damnation speech on my way into the United match tonight and I snapped and yelled “Jesus is dead today so you just may as well take your ### on home.” He was so proud of himself. The other tweeter idiot seems to be a disgruntled Utah State gymnastics fan. Both post and retweet far-left political crap. I'm sure they hate Dabo as well.

were they just unaware? More likely they vetted it and didn't think it would become an issue. Twitter is not the be all and end all of course but still. I haven't seen any gymnastics or Utah State people defending her either.

...camp on this one. Homework was done on this hire by the administration. No way they would jeopardize the startup of a new program with an ethically challenged coach.

You know gymnastic parents are batshit crazy, right?
Parent vendettas are pretty common.
So are having kids in gymnastics that have gone to every gymnastics place in 100 miles and either got kicked out or got pissed at the coaches and left.
Not surprised if that continues into college.

But I remember there being a crowd that had similar thoughts about Rittman. Turns out it was a few players who were mad they got passed up on the depth chart.
Also the former Gamecocks son who played on our basketball team last year. The dad tried to make Brownell seem like an awful coach for disciplining his son.

My thoughts exactly. Hard to tell the difference between a witch hunt and the truth without knowing all the facts. Time will tell. Hopefully CU has done the proper vetting.

just sit back and watch. Like all of us, I had no control over the vetting or hiring process. I just have to trust in the people making those decisions. I can see it both ways: maybe she was "abusive" and all that... or maybe she was just a bit old-school and demanded respect and the kinda things that trigger kids and their parents nowadays. Like showing up on time for practice. LOL
