Compensation Committee will be meeting at 9am today to talk about an increase in Dabo' s contract. Well deserved raises for all of our coaches hopefully.

And increases in IPTAY dues, seat equity, and ticket prices to pay for it.

I'm not opposed to it, but it's the price of success.

I would hope the school has generated enough extra revenue from the success last year to reward the staff without increasing IPTAY or ticket prices. But, the law of supply and demand eventually always wins out......

I'm interested in base vs bonuses

So far, Dabo's contracts have been low base and high bonuses. Now that he's reached the mountain top, does that switch? Or does he continue to take a lower base and higher bonuses so that his success is rewarded?

I think college coach salaries should be capped. No higher than the highest paid professor/administrator.


I kno I kno. . Econ 340 professors disagree.
