Pay that man: Venables deserves 3mill+

Every week we hear pundits and opposing coaches say they have to get hyped for BV's defense, and every week he brings something new and unexpected to the table.

This guy deserves to have a raise equivalent to the one Dabo got. Hes outworking people weekly, and winning us many games in the process.

He's probably the highest paid assistant coach in the country. Clemson has added about $1M to his Oklahoma salary in a very short time, I think he's ok.

after last night the LSU coach should give back some on his pay. Troy

He's already about the highest paid assistant in college and by all accounts he is very happy with his job and compensation.

$1.7 mill is not a bad salary for an assistant coach. Why would he want the headaches of running the whole program when all he has to focus on is running a defense.
