Yeah it was hard to watch.I don't have any I'll will for LJ. Obviously I wanted DW4 to win. But speech was very difficult to listen to.

I don't think his speech, or lack thereof, has anything to do with his qualifications to win the Heisman. I can see why he won, I just think the case for Watson was much stronger if you consider the stated purpose of the Heisman.

I'm not going to make fun of Jackson for being a good football player and a poor public speaker.

I'm not taking anything away from his talent. He deserves that trophy. I'm just saying his speech a lot of people think his speech wasn't good but Paul said it was great

I am not one that it is a joke that L Jackson won, because he was right there as far as deserving. Although, I think Watson should have won. That said, I was so embarrassed for L Jackson watching him give his speech. It was so cringe worthy and far from "great", let alone even just okay. It was cringe worthy indeed.

That's all Finebaum can say! He's part of the problem in sports reporting. He is an SEC homer of the worst kind yet ESPN puts him out there like he is a journalist....he's not, he's an SEC cheerleader. As far as the Heisman goes, he's been on his knees for Lamar Jackson and Louisville all season.

I have never heard Finebaum or watched his show but will say my wife was watching with me and she has no clue who any of the players are but she asked me if the one speaking ever went to school.
