Parking on Saturday

Taking one of my younger boys to the game Saturday night and curious for a parking tip.

Relatively easy in and out is the goal based on hotel near Lexington Medical Center. We probably won’t tailgate given his age, the weather, and other games on TV.

I know Columbia well. It’ll be home for us after the Army so feel free to be detailed. Just never had to think about parking my own car down there. Always tagged along with someone else in the past.

Lots warehouses on Shop Road. Just be careful.

and looking to exit as conveniently as possible, I'll come-in the back way from I-77 and, depending upon traffic, take either Bluff Road, Key Road or Shop Road, get as close to the stadium as I can, then turn around and park along the side of the roadway facing toward I-77.

The good news is, after uof6c's traditional third quarter mass exodus, the post-game traffic should be much more manageable.
