Going to my first game in Columbia and wondering where is the best place to park. Is there a place where Clemson fans tend to park? Thanks for the tips!

I drive to Colonial Life arena downtown and take the bus. It drops you off right in front of the fair grounds, and you can just walk to the stadium. This way you don't have to get into the crazy traffic around the stadium.

How much is the parking? Is it a city bus, or a shuttle to the stadium?

It's been 4 years so I can't quite remember, but It was less than $20. Most importantly, it's less than you'll pay for parking at the stadium.
It's a University of South Carolina shuttle, so it will be mostly Gamecock fans. There were a few Tigers on the shuttle, but we didn't get any trouble. It drops you off at the fair grounds which are right by the stadium. After the game, go back to the fair grounds and the shuttle will take you back to Colonial life.
I Strongly recommend this. You won't have to deal with the stress of parking in the insanity.

There is a small church not to far from the stadium. Seems like they charge around 10-20 dollars. If I remember correctly it is off Key road. Not to far to walk. If you have to park further away, their are many warehouses down that road with parking and you might be able to get somebody to give you a ride to the stadium on a golf cart for a small fee. Good Luck and Go Tigers!

Small near the stadium? That definitely qualifies as a port in the storm.

Plenty of parking along Bluff Rd for $20-$30 in the past. It's easier in and out to come in on I 77 in my opinion. Trying to get to the stadium through town is a struggle usually.

void of anything of value through the windows, no clemson decals or flags and hopefully your paint is urine and scratch proof
Other than that, enjoy your night in an industrial park with some of Columbia's finest.
keep your phone charged. you should be able to get some good videos of co-eds making their sorority pledge come true.

own house at least you won't here go **** sexual explicit every other series you can always mute them but the middle fingers, bottle throwing, and whatever else those sorry excuse for fans want to throw at you or the players. But since your going to game maybe buy some body armor and sunflower seeds and throw those all around you that may keep you safe during the game and afterwards when all the bottles, batteries, babies, or whatever is near by them are thrown after we beat them again.

My brother-in-law, who is a tail gunner for a bread truck in Columbia, says there is no best place to park ..... only "not as bad". The Colonial Life option is OK, but I had rather walk a couple of miles than wait on busses. Of course walking around that area ain't particularly safe either.

In my many years, I haven't figured out why the traffic problems are 180 degrees different between Clemson and Columbia. In Clemson I usually roll in 3 hours before kickoff without much trouble, but after the game the traffic gets gridlocked. In Columbia, I roll in 3 hours before kickoff and it takes an hour to go the last mile, but after the game the traffic flows non-stop. Somebody go figure that out for me.

It’s because the Carolina home fans are long gone by the end of the game
