Pack it in boys, that's it for DJT

already dropping in the polls like a lead balloon.
Then he halts all stimulus discussions until after the election. During the middle of a pandemic.
Now I'm not saying he should pass one or not, but by him walking away from the table, those that have lost jobs, barely getting by are now going to put the blame on him.
If he would have done what he normally does and lie saying Nancy won't work with him and his team, then there might be something to salvage.
Not anymore. He just put the 15th final nail in his coffin.
Hell even the talking heads (on radio) last night were using past tense when talking about Trump's presidency and wondering how history would remember him.
RIP Trump's chances of winning.

As noted in a poll today...

Listed on CNN, it's worse than just the poll numbers. Only 8 percent polled are undecided. This election is already set.
And I can answer that history question: It won't treat his presidency well. I think that's the best part. His rabid supporters will have to stand by and watch the history books destroy this era, and they won't be able to stop it.

W in comparison in the years since. Hard to imagine electing a more ineffectual president than Trump in the years ahead to shift that narrative much.

be looted. That is on them, not on me.
How about give extra stimulus money to a City like Detroit where crime is absolutely rampant due to unemployment and shutdowns, but didnt allow the burning and looting and rioting.
How about we prop up the ones that did their best in order to keep things in check.

Or 2017 - 2019 when Trump Admin and GOP congress added $2 Trillion to debt during economic good times.
The Ever Trumpers and Tea Partiers can pretty much stick a sock in it when it comes to debt. It's obviously okay if it's their guy but crazy bad if the other.

That is BS. However, there are towns, cities, counties and states all over the country who are starting to lay off people in both Red and Blue states.
"I'm not bailing out poorly run blue states" is catchy, but a lot of the Red states need the help as well. Coronavirus first hit blue CA. and NY. This summer it ravaged the southern red states. Sanitation, fire departments, police, DMV, Records...all are facing layoffs because of the economic effect of the Pandemic.

Things are bad for many people and businesses so Biden is going to shut everything down. That won't help and he'll have to borrow more money from or give more power to China to pay the bills.
Pelosi can get the money to the people and businesses but it's politics. She will do nothing like the last 4 years.

He backtracked and reopened discussion
Oct 7, 2020, 9:41 AM

Started rattling off industries to target. Airlines, etc. Listed a bunch of stuff he'd sign, said we had money laying around to do it too. Markets are now happy, and that erased a few hundred billion from the market cap loss his last tweet started.
Whatever. Got to keep up with his stream of (impulsiveness) consciousness on Twitter.
