Over/Under 35 pt Win Saturday! & BC Thoughts!

Oct 29, 2018, 6:12 PM

We should destroy Louisville honestly! I mean as Clubber Lane said once, "PAIN"!

I think we win by more than 35. IN fact, 49 - 3 Tigers! They get a mercy FG in the 4th qtr.!

I hope we jump on Louisville as early as possible and put them away. Because the Boston College game will be in Mass. the cold could play a part to a ( pardon ) "degree"! Think Tom Brady deflating footballs! We would have to still be able to throw it; b/c BC does have a nice front 7. Good defensive backfield too. They are kind of like Stanford up front; physical and sound! If we can loosen them up with some quick strikes we have our way with the Eagles! If not, could get hairy! Tigers still win; especially everyone can play through the cold! Can the equipment guys go ahead and plan on taking out a couple psi from the balls we take up Chestnut Hill? LOL! TL has big hands but when the football is cold man; it can be a beast to throw/catch!

Yeah, I just saw that about Wake when they played BC.

Louisville is giving up 250 yards per game on the ground and nearly 200 passing. But, why pass it when they can't stop you from running it? The problem they are going to have is: Etienne, Feaster, Choice and Dixon won't just gash them for 8-10 yards a pop. They can all take it to the house if they struggle stopping the run - even when they stack the box is what really shocked me!
They in trouble!
A whole heap of trouble; if they can't stop the run even when stacking the box means they tackle poorly and play bad technique(run fits). The past two opponents stacked the box and were half way successful; but paid the price through the air. Louisville can't stop the run even doing that(stacking the box)! They - in - trou-ble!

Looserville is #125 against the rush...

need I say more?

Okay, then they're #102 in total defense...

Want a passing game? They're #124 in sacks...

If the Tigers are focused, it could get real ugly, real quick...

Early November, it may be cold, but not

Oct 29, 2018, 6:53 PM

likely lower than the mid 30's for a night game, and in the 40's for a day game.

Having played in cold weather night football games in high school, the only players that are cold are the players on the bench.

It'll still be in the 60's

Up there next week, so unless there's front coming, the weather may not be to BC's advantage. Besides, the first time it's cold...it's cold for everyone...no acclimation, yet.

15 day at Weather Channel showing 52/41 for November 10th.

That won't affect our game plan.

If that is remotely true; "we good"!

And you bet. I went to school in CT. less than an hour from Mass and on the coast. New London, CT. Even the people who grew up in it were cold when it got "real cold"! So, perhaps they accept it better, but it's still more mental! We just need to make sure we have a few of those really good heaters on the sidelines!

Your right, once you start playing it doesn't bother you nearly as bad! Your body generates heat when you start running! In fact, some players(the big guys) will love it!

BC did give up 298 to Wake! Wow! Colburn who is not a burner; but very much like AJ Dillon had 123 on them. If Etienne isn't shivering too much I think he drops 200 on them. I seem to recall Feaster scoring up in Chestnut Hill during a night game during his freshman year(right)?

Somebody that know the equipment crew - remember to tell them to lower the air pressure in the footballs a bit, LOL!
