Not enough emotions could begin to describe the feelings. No one ever looks back and asks how many. We're in and what a joy the last 3 days have been. Those that know me, know the tears are flowing... Taste good too. Thank you Jesus and Coaches Penley and Byrd. C U in the Desert!!!!

Congratulations and God Bless to ALL Tiger fans. We're headed to the desert out west. Good things tend to happen for Clemson out West.

Zach - I'm crocheting you a cute little snowman bud to take and melt in the desert. Thanks for the memories and many more to come!!!!

With coach Penley retiring this would be a great time for the Tigers to advance out of stroke play to match play, which would be the first time ever in program history. The NCAA tournament started having match play in 2009 and the closest the Tigers have come was 2019 when they finished Tied for 8th after stroke play but lost in a playoff to Southern Methodist for the right to advance to match play.Jacob Bridgeman,Kyle Cottam and Colby Patton are the only current 3 Tigers that played in that tournament so hopefully the experience will pay off this time around for them.

They are playing at the Grayhawk Golf Club. There are 2 18 hole courses(Raptor and Talon) but they are playing the Raptor Course which will play for the men as a par-70, 7,289-yard layout from the back tees and for the women as a Par 72 and 6,429 yards. Here is a website for Grayhawk Golf Club with the NCAA Tournament info on it for both the men and women...https://grayhawkgolf.com/golf-overview/ncaa-golf-championships/

Clemgal, I mentioned on another thread that this will be the third straight tournament on a Fazio course. I hope it gives us a slight advantage as most Fabio courses have similar design/playability features. It’s going to be extremely hot, so I don’t know who that will favor. Hopefully, there will no need for 36 holes in a day like we saw in Atlanta.

so many times in one day!!! And with every punch I thought of our eternal optimist, said a short prayer for her and thanked God she is a Tiger Links Fan!!!!!!!

I know you were sweating bullets all day . . but I had you covered!

Proud of this group of Tigers’ efforts while “whacking it about” these past 3 days!!!

I knew you wouldn't miss it for the world. It was probably good you had some distractions working.,. Lol

All of us really do appreciate your posts with pictures. If the ACC network was smart, they'd have carried some of it. Especially with 7 out of 10 teams making it. Impressive that nearly 25% of the field will be ACC teams.

All we can ask for is a chance. We got a chance. This spring has absolutely turned out to be a blessing for Tiger fans. I'm not giving up on baseball yet. Softball tomorrow. Yeah, men's soccer was dissapointing with the ending but... We got in, won the ACC, #1 seed. Future is bright in so many sports.

Thanks guys. This IS fun. What's encouraging is we made it in with our team NOT playing their best golf. As @tigerlinks says above, 3rd fazio course in a row, this Tennessee course kicked CLP the last time but we found a way.

Clemson won the National Championship in golf one day before my birthday in 2003. I told friends (leading up) that this was the only thing I wanted. It had been a number of years since we had pulled down a big crown.

Well, you will have a birthday coming up real soon. Let's all hope you get another shinny trophy for the case. This year we all should get to actually watch some of it live.
