Our lines have to get significantly better to compete

Jan 4, 2021, 6:59 AM

In playoffs now, it’s been obvious the last two seasons. We got some studs in now on DL but we’re true freshman and others we expected big things from weren’t playing like foster and Thomas. It seems like the OL has tons of bodies in place finally but will take another year or two to develop, the DL I’m concerned about future depth. Numbers are there but only a small portion are elite. We also need to rethink DT size, we excelled with a 325-350 pair of monsters inside and now are going more the 300 athletic route. It doesn’t work as osu and lsu showed us.

Well, thats 2 games out of 25+ wins. You should have lived with me in the 70's. Not 6 straight ACC Trophy's but 0 for 20 at one point. Nobody's perfect

Yea,2 games, but realistically speaking, those two games were against opponents who would have FIELDs day BURROWing thru most of the defenses in the ACC and defenses that would routine hold opponents to 25 and 28 points,or lower.

The sky is not falling. The Power Rangers extra year gave us a title, but may have had an effect on growth of others.

Think about last yea. With Tyler Davis' talents, and personnel limitations, Venables played a 3 man front. Part of that was having more depth at linebacker.

I think the bigger issue was on the back end. As many times that he seemed to get burned in coverage (not really that often), Tanner Muse was a rock in run support.

The offensive line replaced 4 starters, Ross, Ladson, & Ngata were missing.

I promise you Dabo is not making excuses. He's looking at a young team, that has more talent than we've ever had. The last three recruiting classes have been amazing.

Go back 10 years and tell me how you would feel about a 10-2 season?

I'm thankful for every game we get to watch.

The best is yet to come. Go Tigers!
