I highly recommend splurging on the Genie+ and take advantage of early access from staying at a resort hotel (it may have to be a certain tier of resort)
You can bring water and food in, so you mitigate the F and B expenses if you play it right
Some UDPs had a cooler in one of the parks

I stayed strong, N/A beer is very hard to find there
One server sent someone else to a different hotel restaurant to grab some for me to be able to have. That was nice service
We managed to sneak wine into the Magic Kingdom for the fireworks
Took an open bottle of bubbles from the restaurant and “no booze on the monorail” was ignored. The cork flew out on the landing making the well known cork pop noise and the guy was like, just promise you aren’t going to a park with that
I had a handful of N/As and didn’t cave on the drinking
As the sober one I’ve become much more of an instigator for others
