Can anyone tell me why "Orange Empire" is no longer used in pregame activities before home football games? My understanding is that it was composed and played by a country band, one of whose members had been on the Clemson football team. Whether that is true or not, I recall that it really fired up the crowd and added to the overall excitement and "color" of being in Death Valley. I would love to see it returned to the tradition of Clemson football. Can anyone offer advice as to who to contact about this, i.e, names, titles, address, email, etc.?
