I think we saw that Klubnick is as advertised - that is,

very advanced for a true freshman, with all of the tools needed to be the starter at some point. Will he actually win the job? Will he lead us to a National Championship? Will he win the Heisman? Will he play in the NFL? Waaaaaaay too early for any of that nonsense, but we saw enough to determine that he's really good with a lot of upside. With an admittedly lesser degree of certainty, it was clear to me that there was not the kind of separation one would expect between that true freshman with 3 months in the program compared to a junior with a full year as a starter under his belt.
Still, I agree, there's a long way to go, and a whole lot can change between now and September, and between then and November, and while it's fun to whip out the crystal ball and make our predictions, it's ridiculous to pass judgement and draw hard conclusions at this point.
Re: Opinions aside, here’s what we know for certain about this season based on the spring game:

Totally disagree. I think we should know that our defense is talented, deep, and well coached. We were missing several key starters and still looked good. I do understand that it can be difficult to judge what we see based off the spring game there should be no question about the speed of the defensive players or the ability to cover receivers across the middle with linebackers or the way players swarm to the ball. The defense will be impressive all year barring a plethora of injuries.
