it has nothing to do with his play-calling abilities. His demeanor, knowledge, and intentionality are qualities that great CEO's have. That's the coach he would be. He would be very "Dabo" like, IMO.
He will not need to call offense or defense. He will be a great recruiter, and will be able to pour into staff and players, much like Dabo.
His offense has nothing to do with his potential as a HC.

success. Which, is a step up for Duke. If he gets hot one season, then he might be better to jump ship while up. Maintaining a program there will be tough sledding.

I like TE, I think he has a good skill set to be a HC. I hope he stays and takes over whenever Dabo leaves way down the road though. I just don't think we had the dudes this year on O, or if we did have some they were injured.

Agree. He would have been perfect for ND. Tony may be a better Head Coach than Coordinator.

In saying that he was limited by a QB and O line that took most of season to get healthy and to come together. It was a very difficult year to call plays. Inexperienced QB, RB,O line, and more injuries than I can remember. I hope we can keep Tony at OC. I would have no problems with Tony and Streeter being CO Off Cord as was Tony and Jeff
