One thing that amazes me about Dabo.

Is his ability to remember names so well. It would be tough to remember current players names, not to mention past players names. But he will name off players parents names a lot of times. Like this Clary kid who got in a wreck, Dabo named his mom and dad. He said Jadars Mom's name during the national championship celebration speech. I coach a fall ball team of 10 kids and sometimes I have to pause a sec to remember one of the kids names.

Just because he remembers names does not mean he talks to the players Moms on the regular. He is a happily married Christian man. I for one am offended that you would even go there!

H&ll, I don't remember players names today that I knew yesterday, but will call them by name tomorrow. I call that the D O B disease, date of birth  !!!

I do well to remember family members names...once when I returned to work after 3 month medical leave due to meniere's disease causing vertigo, a co-worker asked how I was feeling. I replied that I could not remember a time in my life I felt better. He asked "You feel that good?" to which I replied "No, but my memory is that bad."

I don't even know if he's still there. Knows every kid in the school's face/name by about week two (bout 600). Some people are just wired with great memories and they use it effectively. I believe Dabo is one of these.

I know it. Some people are just that way. Im terrible with names ever since I served in the military. Everybody had their last name on their uniform and you didn't have to memorize anything. Now over a decade later I still can't remember a lot of people's names 2 minutes after they tell me unless I see it written.

That is me to the T Smackdown, but seriously, my D O B is the reason my memory is failing. There are some things that I'm glad I've forgotten, but then again I've had a lot memories that I wish I still remembered. There are times when people from my long ago past will bring up things that I don't even recall anymore that sounded like a good memory to have remembered. I will LOL, and tell them that they must be talking about someone else bc I truly don't remember....
