I think it was the early 2nd quarter, he dropped back to pass and literally just stood there. No footwork, no mobility - literally stood there flat footed and threw a lame and terribly incomplete pass nowhere near the receiver. That - is DJU football.

Cade must really suck not to have put him in.

DJ has the worst footwork of any QB I watch

I never played QB and admittedly never coacehed QB, but when I watch every other QB on Saturdays, I see no QB that stands flat footed while scoping the field. It’s amazing that it hasn’t been fixed. Was this an issue at his high school and if so do we not have a coach who could have fixed it for him? Just frustrating to watch.

He is capable of rolling out and throwing the ball. Whether he throws the right pass is a matter of experience and coaching, but his ceiling is, at this point, UNDOUBTEDLY higher than #5.
