was anyone at the time keeper shaft at Duke in 2006?

watch the video at the 2.08. You can hear Len Elmore say "4.4 seconds, hu? "

there is no way no where else that a team would have been given that much time left. OP and the team was heart broken.

Hope they at least can battle like this tonight...

They didn't even start the game clock until after Vernon Hamilton hit the 3 to tie it. It should have been like less than 2 sec left at the most.

in ACC history.

That said, Clemson not having a defender guarding the lane was idiotic.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Yep...

You can tell Len Elmore really thought Clemson got the shaft. was a good friend of Oliver Purnell since his days when OP was an assistant at Maryland, and he hated Duke.

What I see is we were a Top 20 team playing a Top 10 team on the road in a tough environment and going toe to toe in an exciting, meaningful game. Miss those days badly.

I'm afraid we can expect more shenanigans tonight. Simply can't have Duke, in coach K's last year, losing to Clemson at home. That would be illegal.

Here was another very close one

MacIntyre and Iturbe's shots so close before buzzer under Rick Barnes. He would have had two wins at Cameron when he was at Clemson:

Watched game. Definitely got cheated by the ACC officials that always carried water of NC and Duke. If we play tonight and game is close the ACC officials will not let us win. Not near is bad as used to be.

I was there in the end zone with a Duke friend. He was so apologetic to me afterwards. I was not very happy the entire drive back to Charlotte.

Yes, we left the shooter open for them.
