Great play! I do remember it well, and it no doubt set Dabo's career as a HC in motion. Looking back, that may have been a real turning point for us to go from fair to great. We have been so blessed!

That was on my wedding day. We watched the game and celebrated with the Tiger. Special memory for me!

Funny you should say that, I was in a wedding in Myrtle Beach that day. We kept going in to the bar to catch parts of the game during the reception. By the time overtime started, a third of the guests were in the bar watching the game. That was a great win!

Dang, Parker was good - too bad he was speared in that

Auburn game against Cam Newton. We would have won that game, as he had cracked ribs which was not known until season was over. And the refs did not even called the obvious "spear". Parker with his damaged ribs, could not complete a 12 yd. pass to a wide open Jaron Brown in the end zone which would have won the game in overtime. Kyle beat the NC state Qb at least twice in football and baseball, who is now the star qb of Seattle. And I am sure the damaged ribs did not help Kyle's baseball career, although he finally made the majors this year at Denver. Auburn went on and won the Nat.Championship - dang!

pass not made vs Auburn since he still came back from cracked rib in that 4th qtr to tie game and give us a shot to win. A gamer in my book..and the next week after the Auburn loss, we played Miami at DV and I could tell he was taped up and couldn't throw..and I knew something was very wrong..and why it took the entire season for team doctors to learn OR admit he had been severely hurt in the Auburn game is beyond me.
GoTiGERS!

Remember that Tajh (a freshman I think) stated he was not

ready to take over - coaches put him in in place of Kyle, but he was nervous (forboding) and did not perform well, although it his talent was obvious and Kyle was wearing his baseball cap on the sidelines creating an uproar here on tigernet, as fans did not know about his bad injury. I have cracked a rib before, and the pain is unbelievable! and he had two cracked ones!

You are correct, and that pain don't just last a few hours, every time you try and move for weeks you feel as though you were just kicked in your ribs by a F-ing horse. The absolutely longest painful injury I've ever had X 2 in my life!!!

Yep, thanks for the affirmation. Hiccups were killing me when I was cracked my ribs from fall, and long way from medical care, my driver mentioned that hops would stop them, so we stopped at nearest bar and got them - they worked!

I know most of us have gave Kyle a hard time at some point. Was he deserving, maybe, maybe not. But when he was a 100%, he could zip that ball into the receiver's hands. But that pass to Jacoby was a tight Spiral by the time it got to Jacoby that made that ball easy to catch and go, TD!!! Great moment for me, and I was glad I was watching it on the TV in bedroom, it was a tearful happy moment for me. This brings back a big time memory moments for me, so I have a memory moment question. Did you break down and just booooo hooooo-ed happy tears by the bucket when the clock run down in our National Championship Game. And my hand is raised bc I surely did. I couldn't talk to my Tiger friends without breaking down. That game is in one of the top Five happiest moments in my entire life!!! At about the 2hr 30 minute mark is when the tear ### breaks open for me!!!

Yeah, and the worst part of all this was the way Parker was from then on continually blasted and vilified continually on this board by all the"expert" posters.

One of my top three games I ever saw in person

Entire family flew down to Miami for that game. Was one of best times ever.
Number one game... I was also in Miami for the National Championship game...
Second... the catch to beat the Gamecocks... still remember the Cocky move of having the shirts on under their jersey... "No Cigars Tonight." That was a classic game for sure!
(Of course, we couldn't see the fools with the shirts in the student section... but it was on TV...)
In fact, where the Clemson students were sitting, it was hard to tell if we actually scored until everyone just started going nuts.... fun time.

A real beauty pulling that one off after dealing with all the thugs at the game. The real Miami alums were apologizing throughout the game for the display by their "Cane" fans.
