So the narrative is Clemson’s playoff chances are over after losing the first game of the season in a close battle with a Top 5 team from the SEC because the ACC is weak. But Georgia is now one of the best teams in the country after barely beating an ACC team.

Odds heading into the game had Clemson's CFP odds at 59% with a loss. It was like 79% overall. Probably still the same though we don't control our own destiny from here necessarily.

After one game we have to hope other teams lose. Do like Oklahoma and schedule Prairy U.

Yep, it's really kind of comical, but that is the world we in which we live now. I won't consider us a contender for any playoff spot, until we figure out how to block somebody and can protect our QB long enough for him to complete a pass, but by no means are we so much worse than others being considered. Had we made one more play, and made a 2 point conversion to win the game, would we be a better team than one that missed a big play? I think not, but we do have much work to do to get our OL where it is serviceable against decent competition. And, OBTW, our QB needs to settle down, make better decisions and use his legs to help himself and our team out. His play was a abysmal as the OL, IMO, and Tony Elliot didn't earn himself a contract extension based on his play calling, either. There is much blame to share, and much work to be done for this team to earn credibility. All this JMHO.

They've awarded Bryce Young the Heisman after one week, so I guess it makes sense?

Also, if you read today's articles and analysis UGA's defense gave up 3 pts to a top5 opponent and they are an elite national title contender. Clemson's defense gave up 3 pts to a top5 opponent and are a dumpster fire of a program who's going to the Liberty Bowl
