They played without Bresee. (Praying his health is fine and he'll be 100% next week.) They put pressure on QB all night long, especially the 2nd half, with no blitzers. Yes, there were a few blitzes, but not so much. That gave the secondary to play cover two and didn't force the young, very young, DBs to play man defense all night with no safety help.

Henry was a beast. Refs probably could have legitimately called holding on the right tackle at least 10 times.
Question: How could you tell when Henry got to the QB.
Answer: He wasn't held.

The entire unit played up to the standards - the very high standards - that the pre-season hype set for them. They held NCSU to 30 yards rushing, until the last garbage time drive, AND they got pressure on the QB all night without putting 7 in the box.

Heck he was held and still got there most of the night. Only times he didn't get held is when the o lineman couldn't get his hands on him because he beat him off the line so bad.

good analysis. It was interesting how good they looked versus last week when Wake scored lots of points
