Clemson blew an 11-point lead but rallied to defeat No. 22 Georgia Tech, 28-25, Saturday in an Atlantic Coast Conference game at Clemson, S.C.

The Tigers (4-3 overall and 3-2 in the ACC) led 21-10 at halftime. But the Yellow Jackets (4-2, 4-2) went ahead 25-21 before Nealon Greene scored the winning touchdown for Clemson on a one-yard run with 4:06 left to play.

Very exciting game! TU for you and kudos for bringing back this memory.

Sometimes folks forget just how good Raymond Priester was and just how much of a boss Emory Smith was. Dexter McCleon was a fine tuned machine that year.

Also, we wore my favorite jerseys in the first home game of the year against Furman. Coincidentally that day was my birthday. The uniforms I'm talking about are the all orange tops (no paw) with dark numbering, navy/ darkish pants and the darker helmet with two orange stripes. Call me crazy but I loved that look. We also wore them the year before against Georgia.
