On the Korn Ferry Tour . . .

@ the Albertsons Boise Open . . . Billy shot another solid -2 to end up T-54th Place . . . a short climb up the Leaderboard of 9 rungs since yesterday.

Billy has settled his game down lately . . . He has cut his mistakes to a minimum . . . Now I’m waiting for him to find a sweet streak that lasts through the entire tournament.

Billy is T38 after round 1 of 3 in the Korn Ferry Tour Finals.

As a reminder to everyone, the golfers that have already earned their PGA TOUR cards by finishing the regular season in the Top 25 are excluded from the Korn Ferry Tour Finals Top 25. That's why it may look confusing to see that Billy finished T54 in the Albertsons Boise Open and is T38 in the KFT Finals standings after the first event.

Thanks. Was really pulling hard for him to make a big leap over the weekend. Fantastic job as Skeeta56 pointed out. He had 2 bogeys for the tournament. That's strong. Unfortunately he ended just 3/12 on the par 5's and birdied the 290 yrd 15th once... Have no idea what the hole looks like but noticed the field was taking advantage of the driveable par 4.

He's right there. Doesn't look like he has to win an event, although that'd be a dream realized, but just notch a couple top 10's or 20's in the last 2.

I guess they were still in the process of building the list when I originally posted it. I just checked again and Billy is at T43 after event 1 of 3. Of course, Ben, Sam, and D.J. missed the cut last week, so they do not have any points as of now.

Fingers crossed for four great rounds out of those guys this week, as well as Lucas.

Meant to post that Alice Hewson had a nice 68k payday and finished t20. She had it rolling on the back 9 with a 4 birdie stretch. Shot 69 in spite of 4 bogeys. Nice tourney. Proud of Alice.

Laura finished t58.
