Bally Sports South is carrying the game . . .



Made it through the 2nd inning unscathed . . . Pitch count is already @ 41

Made it through the 3rd easily . . . Pitch Count @ 53 . . . Still 1-0 Braves

Yates (an ex-Padre) In to Close . . . and he did it well . . . Braves WIN . . . 8 in a row

Strider’s last 8 appearances (some of those last season) he has struck out at least 9 hitters . . . tied a record previously held by Smoltz.

Important to note that when the Padres were in Atlanta, Fried was on the shelf and Murphy was scuffling at the plate. Atlanta is the best team in the National League despite not paying an arm, leg, and half a torso for big names like the Mets, Dodgers and Phillies have.
