Some carolina fan said "old miss is the best 3-5 team in the nation". Can anyone explain why someone would care about old miss's crap season and argue they are good?

The sarcasm was that that would be "proof". It is no joke the the current ESPN FPI has them at 14. What a useless measure of "anything".
