Some of it was noise

Simpson and Carman looked like they didn’t know the snap count the whole game.

I assume they are 74 and 79. (Sorry, I don't know all the players by name.) AS I was watching the game it appeared to me that both were having trouble not only with the false starts but also blocking as well. Seemed like neither had a good game.

Seriously, soooooo many 3rd down false starts. I don't recall many against Cuse, so I can't believe the crowd was the issue.

The problem was not crowd noise, it was lack of focus. That WILL get fixed.

Not an excuse, but NC would make last minute shifts on the defensive front and with those shifts came defensive alignment calls from defensive players. As I said, this should not be used as an excuse because we move on the snap. Appeared to be more of a lack of concentration on our part. I'm sure this, as well as the many other flubs will get addressed and fixed during our bye week.
