BV always said his defense didn’t work without

A couple of war daddies up front. Now is the time to make a splash. I think now is the time to:
1. Hire a DL coach with NFL experience. We have the funds.
2. Next season the week before early signing period opens we throw whatever left over NIL money we have at any DL prospects committed to Oklahoma. It’s time for some payback. Between bates and Kanak it’s time to leave them high and dry without other options to fall back on.

Payback for what?
Oklahoma offered BV an opportunity that I’m 100% was supported by Coach Swinney. BV gave Clemson ten of his best years, and I’m grateful.
On the way out BV has been nothing but gracious to Clemson in actively trying to convince defensive recruits to honor their commitment. Do he or Oklahoma make the decisions for these kids? Even so, only one recruit is following him to Oklahoma and that is his decision to make.
As far as coaching hires; he offered a promotion to people and they accepted. Dabo and Clemson had every opportunity to offer the same promotions and didn’t. Would you stay at your company after being passed over for a promotion when another company comes and offers you the promotion with them? Keep in mind it more than likely comes with a 100% raise. Baring any drastic extenuating circumstances I would make the move.

I didn’t recruit my secretary to come with me. I didn’t try to poach clients. If you want more money somewhere else, no problem. But for us to find out he stole Kanak because someone searched an OU student directory and to poach Bates this late in the game just isn’t cool. You don’t take recruits for the next class or on field coaches. Period. 2023 recruits, analysts, even Turnipseed was fair game.

First off, I doubt you’ve had a job with a personal assistant.
Secondly, he didn’t “poach” recruits. Kanak chose to go to OU to play for BV, nothing underhanded there. Coach Bates more than likely didn’t like being passed over for co-DC here so who’s fault is that? I won’t respond further as to not satisfy the appetite of a child. Down vote it again, it seems your only tangible defense as thought isn’t on your side.
