OK then; why is DW not more respected as a "quarterback"?

He make all types of throws. He reads defenses accurately and quickly and selects the right receiver. He is accurate. He keeps calm under pressure. He is a leader. AND he has the stats to make the case. So why do people say he is a runner and not really that good as a quarterback? If you know another explanation other than the one DW gave I would like to know what it is.

Who said he's not a good QB? He's the best all-round QB that I've ever seen.

But he is. He is first team all America qb, heisman finalist and front runner, and picked by many to be #1 overall qb. People are setting up strawmen now to justify their invalid positions.

How this thing has turned racial is really disappointing. But it's where we are now as a nation, it's bled into what was a promising season. And the sad part is for no reason.

He is respected as a QB.

He is listed as the number 1 QB in CFB by many media outlets. People used to say he was a run first guy and that annoyed him throughout his youth. No one says that any more. He linked the skewed thought process of those who assume a black QB is a run first QB to the term 'dual-threat'. You can't make that link. It's just not accurate. A dual threat QB is one who excels at running and passing the ball. Not a run first QB.
