It has to be over 20 years old now as I never wear it, but it is hanging in my closet.
I do have a Tilley hat that I wear a lot - other than that, not a fan of getting a shirt or other stuff.

you are correct, most of the shirts are bad with exception of traditional solid colored ones. And any other than the "classic" ballcaps (of which I have quite a few) and the Tilley hat Father G mentions, don't bother with those either.
I like the Masters "trinkets" best, always have. I used to get a calendar when I used to go every year, photos are frameable. Mini putters, towels, ball markers, stuff like that. That's where my souvenir funds generally go. My favorite Masters item ever is a pewter putting cup I bought 30 years ago probably. It's where I dump my keys, knife, and pocket change every night when I get home to this day. I love that thing.

thet are basically the names of each hole - I started that collection whenever they first came out, but I have not bought one in ten years or so. Used to have a co-worker from Augusta that would pick one up for me.

Cheesiest $10 knock-off shirt from the stands outside the gates.
What really chapped me last time I went was seeing the POS groups of men using their badges solely to go to the souvenir shop as early as possible and walk out with 5 figures worth of merchandise for resale on the Internet. These are tickets that won’t even be used for watching golf and the merchandise is basically sold at double the price. There’s no reason AN couldn’t crack down on these dirt bags.

were so long. I already know how surprised I'd be to find anything I'd actually wear even if it was affordable. Jack it up by 400%, and it's a pretty hard pass.
I read that AN expects to make around $70M in merch sales this year. Forgot what the per hour and per minute breakdown was, but it's pretty absurd.

They had a hipster gag shirt with Tom Kite looking like Bob Ross painting and saying “maybe there’s three trees on the ground over here—get crazy, it’s your world”
It was $350 but it was pre-washed.

point...
The new hats I saw some people wearing...."Azalea", "Amen", all that ####....get TF out. That's horrible. Absolutely turrible.
The traditional gear, w/ the Master's logo is phenomenal. Their golf shirts are second only to Peter Millar featherweight, IMO. And that's a ~$100 shirt.
Unfortunately, wrt this topic, I've lost a lot of weight and am having to drop clothes sizes. My current swag is way too big so I need to go again and drop another couple Gs.
Comparatively their stuff isn't that ridiculously priced. I think I read the golf polos were ~$80, pullovers ~$100, hats ~$30. That's pretty in-line w/ the Peter Millar's, Foot Joy's, and Travis Matthieu's of the golf clothing market. I don't wear Nike/Adidas/UnderArmour so no clue what those run
