Ohio State Ranking - Troubling

This ranking is troubling. Their three toughest games are Wisconsin, Northwestern & Michigan. Compare that to Georgia, Florida State & South Carolina. If Ohio State goes undefeated ESPN will put them in the National Championship.

ESPN controls the entire world of sports. They control the refs, swing polls, and even control all the BCS computers. IT'S ALL A GIANT CONSPIRACY!
In all seriousness, if we're fortunate enough to make it through this season undefeated, and it comes down to an undefeated SEC team (which will obviously get in--and they should), and either an undefeated Ohio State or Clemson team, I have full confidence that Clemson would get the nod due to strength of schedule, assuming Georgia, Florida State and South Carolina are all as good as they're supposed to be (along with potentially Miami if we play them in the ACCCG).
At this I'm going to focus on the huge game we've got on the 31st rather than a hypothetical scenario which would play out 5 months from now.

They play one of the weakest schedules in the country this year. I'd love to see us play them for all the marbles. Taj would have a field day!

This year may be the year that the SEC favoritism gets tested. Ohio St., Oregon, Stanford, Louisville, Clemson, and FSU all have the ability to go undefeated. If every SEC team drops a game will they still promote an SEC team?

I think a 1-loss SEC team probably would deserve to get in over an undefeated Ohio State or Louisville team.
Louisville's toughest opponent is probably between South Florida, Rutgers and UConn.
Imagine LSU goes 11-1 in the regular season, with a loss to Alabama (who will at most have 1 or 2 losses this year). That means they will have beaten Florida, Texas A&M, Georgia , and Arkansas (who is going to be good this year; they've got the raw talent and Bret Bielma is a #### good coach).
Ohio State is closer, but they're not going to play any elite teams and their OOC schedule includes the Cal Bears, San Diego State, Florida A&M, and Buffalo. It's probable that Ohio State will only play one ranked team all year in Michigan.
