CWhiteland27 12/31/16 11:48 PM Considering all that happened in this game, I would say the defense played pretty #### good for being on the field for all of three #### quarters. That being said, my hatred for clemson only builds after this game. Having lived in Greenville SC for seven years and experiencing their fans when we lost to them in the orange bowl, they are in my top three for most hated teams. Number one being them followed closely by ttun, and the Florida for losing in the ship to them in two sports a few months apart. Anyways this loss doesn't hurt as bad as i thought it would. The reasoning is because we have a very young team. They will use this schalacking as a motivator for the next couple years as they grow and develop. Also the fact that regardless of who wins the natty (ill be rooting for Bama) they will drop from a top tier team next year with the loss of Watson. So looking at where we are versus where clemson is, we are in a way better situation then they are. Lastly the play calling in this game was atrocious. We all have known that there were issues with playing calling going back to Herman leaving. Well that reality has come to fruition with this game. I have never once doubted Urban until his hire of Tim Beck. Whatever his strength maybe in recruiting , he lacks in all other aspects of coaching. If I were UFM I would be holding a press conference very soon announcing a new offensive coordinator.

Your tears taste delicious. The bad news for the rest of college football is Clemson is also a very young team that is loaded with talent, with more talent coming. Also, we don't need any coaching changes to 'fix' anything, as we already have one of the best coaching staffs in the nation. They will all be disappointed when Clemson doesn't lose 3 or 4 games when DW leaves for the NFL.

think or whether you like us or not you and your team are really irrelevant and just another stepping stone for our program. Why would any of us like the Buckeyes after their auspicious start with their thug coach slugging our linebacker in the Gator Bowl.

The QB platoon behind Watson is still top 5, the skill players continue to stack up, only one defensive lineman that pounded OSU is a senior, only one offensive lineman is a senior, and the defensive backfield was in full replacement mode this year.

That's a great attempt at side-stepping the real reason for the outcome of the game. Your offensive line could do nothing with the Clemson front four, and your right tackle specifically couldn't handle Clelin Ferrell. That combined with the overall team speed advantage Clemson's D had over your offense and you see the result. That's it in a nutshell. No disrespect but OSU along with the rest of the B1G just aren't ready for primetime bro.

this was not your post. You are liable to get a bunch to thumbs down otherwise. I gave it the benefit of doubt and directed my post to the moron's name at the start of the post.

Whatever. Clemson can put in 5 QB's to outplay Barrett.

Barrett has a lot more class than game. And Ohio St has talent with departing Georgia LB McMillan and Cleveland safety and Bosa. It's the rest of the team and coaching that does not impress.

It would be foolish to say we won't have growing pains when Watson leaves. But I think we'll still be a 10 win team. We got players everywhere.
I find it funny that he says his team is in "better situation" when we are days away from playing for a second straight NCG. If we don't have the right QB by next season then 2018 will deliver that need. Its also amusing that Clemson missing a QB is a problem but he acknowledges that their coaches suck. Not knowing your OC for next year is way sketchier than changing QB's and likely having his replacement on campus or committed.

I know it hurts when that little school in the Northwest corner of South Carolina has defeated the mighty Buckeyes every time the two teams have stepped on the field. Envy and jealousy can create hatred in those who cannot accept reality. Perception does not win a football game, it's the action on the field that determines the end result. I'm glad Ohio State can look forward to improvement in the future due to their having a young and talented squad. But if you look at the Clemson roster, you will see the exact same thing. There are many other schools who's roster lists a slew of young players so this is not something that applies only to Ohio State.
I don't harbor the hate for Ohio State that you do for Clemson. I wish the Buckeyes well except when they play Clemson.
