any other nation on the planet to put bounties on US soldiers, as long as it's in a known dangerous place, like Afghanistan? It's understood and expected that our "allies", or at least non-enemies, can and will try to kill our soldiers there, because that's just what you do? We can certainly wait to see how true this actually is, but I'm honestly trying to understand how Team Trump is so dismissive of something that could easily be construed as an act of war.
Let's say, hypothetically, it's proven to be 100% true: where do you stand?

You know, one of my big concerns is “military experts” being the ultimate authority in these kinds of things. I think we should just trust our own experiences and what we feel is correct, and I don’t think there’s any way Russians are putting bounties on our boys and we’re all just going to be cool about it.
