Officiating in the Jags/Chargers game was really sketchy.

Even toward the end, when they missed the blatant holding against Bosa … the play before they had missed and obvious hold on the Charger DB.

There were multiple instances in the first half. The Charger DBs we’re getting away with murder.

Looked like ACC crew out there.

Yeah…very sloppy IMO, crowd was fired up…especially when they waved off the PI in the first half.

You are aware the NFL is classified as an "entertainment league" not a sports league, right?

Look it up ?

For relaxing times, make it Suntory time

Might also want to look up Brian Tuohy's work on the sports industry.

Sometimes the road to the truth is so elusive it's confusing and reality becomes illusion.

At least there was a lot of missed stuff on both sides,

not just one. Maybe all the missed calls on the Jaguars in the 2nd half were makeup for all the missed PIs on the Chargers in the first half.

I can count on one hand the missed opportunities and bad calls that went against the chargers. I need both hands and both feet to count them for Jacksonville! It wasn’t even remotely the same out there.

And most of the ones that people would say, wet against the chargers were 50-50 and very questionable. Whereas most of the calls that went against Jacksonville were blatant not to mention some crazy bad breaks!

I found it refreshing that they let them both play. I get tired of all the ticky tack calls that stop the game and slow down the flow and momentum.

Nah the problem with letting them play means you let one team keep the other team from being able to play. You can’t run routes and complete passes if guys are holding you and grabbing you around the waist slowing you down and hitting you before the ball gets there.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

There’s letting them play, and then there’s blatantly breaking the rules

I saw a lot of LA players getting away with blatantly breaking the rules. The announcers were even talking about it.

If they are going to allow DBs to basically run over receivers without playing the ball defenses have no chance on deep balls.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

The play where Bosa was held after he lined up offside?

Jan 15, 2023, 6:12 AM

...then set up the 2-point conversion for his helmet slamming temper tantrum on the field?

Think all the gambling being pushed by the League and their Network stooges are causing this?

So Tedy Bruschi says it’s “playoff” football on ESPN

this morning. On an obvious PI by the Chargers. PI is PI regardless and shame on him for spewing that nonsense on national TV.
