I agree with those concerned about play calling. We seem to have a very limited play book. Called a run up the middle on just about every first down. Almost no pre snap motion. But the execution was spot on!

And I’m just confused about the defense. On paper it should be the best D in the country, but they just haven’t been dominate. Hopefully getting players healthy will help.

That being said…this was a great win. Hard fought, never give up, just a solid win. Wake has some skill players!

Defense seems too spread out and holes all over

Almost like they are in a "prevent defense" all the time. My question is how has our secondary gotten to where there is such a drop off between the starters and backups? Wonder if our current D-line been reading too many of their own headlines because they are NOT dominating as projected? What is going to happen NEXT year when about 5 guys are in the NFL and their backups have to take their place...will they be ready to go or get manhandled? The "WES" needs to get all fired up and chew some butts and get the attention of his guys and put them on notice that "BEST IS THE STANDARD".
