Offensive game planning and player development

Dec 1, 2022, 2:14 PM

Before I ask my question to hopefully get opinions from TNET football knowledgeable folks, I want to say that I love Dabo and how he has build the CU football program to compete year in and year out. I'm proud to have him as our football coach especially when I hear other coaches being interviewed who seem boarding or worse.

What I'd like to understand better is how Dabo says the criticism of the 2021 and 2022 offensive comes from folks who don't understand the issues. Certainly, he doesn't think DJ has performed well, right? I'm no football expert, but DJ seemed stiff and lacking confidence.

Is our biggest problem coaching on the offensive side of the ball or player development or a combination of both? It sure seems like our play calling is limited...is this due to the jimmy/joes we have or something else.

This offense has been downright hard to watch. I'm thinking Dabo cannot be honest with the media and fans due to trying to keep moral and confidence from falling any further.

I know this is my first post and probably others have said it better, but I would like to hear from others with more football knowledge.

There is no Player development or offensive game plan. Go back and look at 12 previous games ,
We plan on same game plan. Guaranteed 1 st play Sat night. Will let lead foot run. That is Streaters game plan. It is over after that. He has no idea what he is doing.
